Getting and Giving the Best Bargain Online
There are so many ways to get the best bargain online. You can use Google, check out stores all over the country or use websites like Groupon and the litany of other emerging coupon sites that help you get amazing deals from local vendors. As a local vendor you have many options to participate but have to manage what you are willing to spend and give.
Groupon is becoming very popular. Groupon has one special in your area where you spend for example $20 to get a certificate for $100. Groupon gets $10 and the vendor gets $10. Currently there is a long wait in the Denver area to be able to get your company as the featured company. One of the features of Groupon that is much talked about is that there is a threshold and a certain number of Groupons have to be bought for anyone to be able to buy them.
Groupon is gaining in popularity in Denver and DDM spoke to our friend Brain Heart at Frame De Art and he said that Groupon was an excellent tool for him. Brian shared that more than 80% of the buyers of the Groupons were new to Frame De Art and that new exciting projects were coming in the store because of it.
YoLo Deals is starting next Monday (February 1, 2010) and they have a similar concept. YoLo will also donate 5% to a nonprofit. Their first nonprofit will be the Cancer League of Colorado.
There are many other opportunities for these types of deals. Share your stories on this page by adding your comments.
