4 Years in Review

This past year has been a year of record growth for Denver DataMan and has brought us to new heights since last I wrote.

This past year we have added to the staff with a lead trainer, Andre Takacs. Betsy Maletz has been added as an instructor as well. We are currently hiring a Business Relationship Manager that we expect will help us continue our expansion. While we continue to grow and hire we have paid off our line of credit and are going into our 4th year debt free.

The projects we do for our clients range from computer training, web site design, web applications, print on demand, social media consultation, email marketing and various other computer related topics. We are proud to continue to make all the solutions that we offer driven by training. We believe that a well trained computer user will get the most out of their software investment.

We are supporting the growth of our economy here in the Denver metro area working with Arapahoe Douglas Works! Over the last nine months we have trained over 322 under and unemployed adults on Microsoft Office applications, foundational computer skills and using the Internet. With nearly 200 hours of training hours Denver DataMan has trained these individuals with improved computer skills to be more employable.

Our investment in the South Metro Chamber continues to be very well valued. We are excited about the ways we give back to the community teaching Meetup Classes, sponsoring the Social Marketing for Business group and other events. We sponsored the Who’s Your Hero Awards with Core First Bank and Trust and look forward to doing so again this year.

Our membership in the Colorado Software and Internet Association is very valuable to us. The CSIA helped us survive when burdensome tax changes would have challenged our ability to stay in business. We are also member proud organizational members of the Drupal Association.

We can not do this without our partners. We work with computer consultants like C Squared Computer Consulting, developers like Sailboat Media and Pixel Apropos, designers like Veal Creative, Kelp Works, marketing strategists and others. Partnerships help us put together the right team for each project and to best serve our clients.

The staff at Denver DataMan is excited as we go into our 5th year of business for what this year will be bring. Our revenue goals are optimistic but we continue to do this while offering fair pricing and a 50% nonprofit discount. We are working with Veal Creative to re-imagine the imagery of the DDM brand and to update our image. We are not loosing the cape, don't worry we are still your computer training super hero!

We continue to make investments in staying up to date with the fast moving world of software and the Internet. The DDM team continues to learn going to and sponsoring conferences to make sure that we have the knowledge to best support our clients.

Thank you to all those who have helped us get to where we are and will continue to help us succeed.
