3 Years!

Three Years This morning I am taking a few minutes to write in my blog and it is hard to believe that DDM has been around for three years. When I started DDM I did it because I saw there was a gap between the computers people had and the skills they needed to have to be effective. There are very few companies that address this gap and I am proud to be the owner of one that is grounded in pedagogy and not just computer know-how.

In the past three years we have served over 100 companies and organizations and taught over 500 people new skills. This count does not include the thousands of people who have read the DDM blog or interacted with other DDM content in some way or another.

It has been an honor to server the business community and the nonprofit community. Denver DataMan is split about 50/50 between these two sectors. We have served nonprofits, included those devoted to mental health, childhood cancer and community justice and equality. We have always done this with a substantial nonprofit discount.

The web development division that has grown over the last year has been a lot of fun with new challenges and new training opportunities. Our partnership with Pixel Apropos has expanded our ability to create cost effective sustainable web presences for small organizations that otherwise might not have this opportunity.

Our partnership over the last year with the South Metro Chamber of Commerce has been the single biggest force in our growth. The SMCC has given me many training opportunities as well as opportunities to train and help others. The SMCC has helped us partner in various ways with Award & Sign, Chunka Munka Cookies, Columbine Design, CoreFirst Bank and Trust, Estrada Strategies, Experience Pros, GrannyMa's Restaurant and Catering, Hanbery and Hanbery, Kelpworks Creative, VIP Exhibits and many others too numerous to list.

Over the last 3 years we have been partnered with Teaming 4 Technology. Our partnership with T4T has given us a volunteer opportunity to support over 100 nonprofit organizations and many individuals. This is something that DDM is very proud of.

As we look forward our key is still education. We will continue to train on the software and tools small businesses and nonprofits need to get their job done. Social media will continue to be a focus of DDM because we know that the world is changing and for businesses to survive let alone thrive we need to become more social.

I personally believe, and will continue to run Denver DataMan on the philosophy that if I help you others will help DDM. Our support of the business and nonprofit community is unwavering. Together business in Denver will thrive. With your continued support Denver DataMan will not only be here 3 years from now but with the right formula many years to come.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to build Denver DataMan.
