30K Feet

I am writing this blog post on a jet flying from Denver to New York. Not only am I writing it, I am posting it. I think it’s amazing that we have made it possible for us to work anywhere we are. By the same token we must ask if this is a good thing.

I would suggest that it is a very good thing to be able to work from the air. I am working from the air so I don’t have to work on vacation. Better I work on the jet and be productive than I work when I am on vacation.

You do need to look at the cost and see if it makes sense. Delta’s service was $25 for a one month membership to their service. I think this a very good deal given the work I need to complete.

I did buy a net book (small laptop with an 8.5 hour battery) to make this all possible but this too makes writing this post and other content for our clients much more viable on a plane. This machine is also great for people who are on the move and just need to work on documents.
