Facebook lets you share links with your friends in a more targeted way. You can add a link on Facebook to your own wall or to a friend's wall or as a message. Some sites are adding Facebook sharing buttons to their content. Adding content to Facebook does not keep a running list of your favorites for others to find.

Social bookmarking is a tool with great potential that I hope will get more use. Sharing links in a productive way will help everyone on the Internet find more useful information and make their use of the web even more productive.
