ACT! (ACT) is a very popular CRM for many users.  It has been available longer than most of the popular CRMs, so it has a very dedicated user base.  If you are part of this user base, you need to be aware of the critical updates that ACT is making that can remove your access to your data.

August 15th was the Get The Gifts: Strategies for Optimizing Online Giving Campaigns for Tech 4 Good Denver.  The impressive panel of experts for the forum was made up of  Thea Rounsaville the CSU Assistant Director of Annual Giving, Lisa Lujan the Online Giving Coordinator for Community First Foundation/Colorado Gives Day, and Kim Ruotsala the Chief Development Officer for the Food Bank of the Rockies.

Salesforce has had Salesforce.org and the Nonprofit Success Pack for a while now.  With these programs, they grant (provide 10 licenses) organizations access to Salesforce.  For some organizations, this is a great tool. Salesforce has now announced the next iteration of this, the Salesforce.org Nonprofit Cloud.
